North Wales Spotlight Event at M-SParc

The SBRI Centre of Excellence hosted a North Wales Spotlight event at M-SParc in June, focusing on challenge-led contracts for innovation, and bringing together innovators and public sector colleagues to highlight past achievements and future direction of the programme. The event underscored the importance of collaboration in driving Wales’ innovation agenda, leaving attendees enthused and optimistic about the potential for innovation in our public sector.

The event featured key speakers from the SBRI Centre, Welsh Government, Innovate UK, academia and SBRI challenge partners.

Roger Rowett, CEO of Here2There Ltd, successful applicant to the ‘Better Lives, Closer to Home’ challenge, remarked that “It certainly wasn’t ‘just about the money’, the support we got was great. Also fantastic to get an objective and informed third party to validate our idea.”
